The only similarity that Dallas, New York and Los Angeles may have is being among the country’s top ten biggest cities. However, according to Texs property developer Marcus Hiles, one may also find that the respective population of each mentioned locale are more on renters than houseowners. As a matter of fact, over half of the household population in Dallas are living in rental residences. Tenancy is becoming increasingly popular over home ownership in the U.S.; 500,000 more renters are expected in the country every year through 2023. Many believed that the rental option is more costly than homeowning when it comes to housing expenses but it’s actually the other way around. What makes rental lifestyle a better option than homeowning is that it doesn’t burden the renters with expenses on maintenance and higher utility bills that buyers encounter, although the latter may have lower annual cost.
